Lieutenant Richard George Forbes

Brothers in arms: Gunners Sam and John Rowland, of 319 Battery, on a Matchless motorbike some time after D-Day. John died on October 31, 1944, after being caught in an explosion, which Sam survived. He is buried at Overloon War cemetery.
